Ingredients
| INGREDIENTS | BENEFITS |
|---|---|
| Certified Organic Aloe Barbadensis (aloe vera) Leaf Juice | Aloe vera has healing soothing, antibacterial and moisturizing properties. It is used to relieve burning, itching, minor cuts and first and second-degree burns. Recent studies indicate that aloe vera has the ability to accelerate cell (basal keratinocyte) growth in the skin. |
| Certified Organic Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil | Sunflower oil is expressed from sunflower seeds. It has a very high level of linoleic acid, which demonstrates superior skin compatibility and increases the moisture content of the skin (skin hydration is proportional to the level of linoleic acid in the skin). |
| Aqua | Our living and energized water is reverse osmosis purified. |
| Non-GMO Xanthan Gum | Xantham Gum is formed when sugar is fermented by the bacteria Xanthomonas campestris. The bacteria ferment sugar to form a gummy substance. It is used as a thickener, stabilizer, and emulsifier in many organic dairy products, desserts, salad dressings and cosmetics. |
| Yucca Schidigera Extract | The Yucca Schidigera plant is native only to the south-western deserts of North America. Traditionally Native American Indians used it for washing, shampooing, and for a myriad of different medicinal applications. Biochemical research has shown that natural saponins, like those found in Yucca, repair the damage to cell membranes of the skin and scalp that result in a loss of nutrients. |
| Citrus Aurantium Amara (bitter orange) Fruit Extract | Bitter orange has a very complex chemical makeup with many health-enhancing effects. A great topical antioxidant that is loaded with Vitamin C. |
| Certified Organic Citrus Aurantifolia (lime) Essential Oil | The pure essential oil expressed from the peel of ripe limes is cleansing and antiseptic. |
| Santalum Album (Sandalwood) Essential Oil | The pure essential oil from Sandalwood is said to strengthen the connective tissue and dermis and help water retention in the skin. It is an excellent hydrating oil for dry skin. It is healing and anti-bacterial, making it useful for acne and itching in general. |
| Certified Organic Aesculus Hippocastanum (horse-chestnut) Seed Extract | Horsechestnut seed is an excellent treatment for blotchy and sensitive skin. It helps to strengthen capillaries and is anti-inflammatory. |
| Certified Organic Hypericum Perforatum (st johns wort) Flower Extract | St Johns Wort flowering herb is soothing, anti-inflammatory and is used for sensitive skin. It is also used as a skin tightener. |
| Certified Organic Matricaria Recutita (Chamomile) Flower Extract | Chamomile extract has counter-irritant, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. It is excellent for calming and soothing sensitive and allergy-prone skin. |
| Certified Organic Hamamelis Virginiana (witch hazel) Leaf Extract | Witch Hazel leaf extract soothes inflamed skin and acts as a protective agent. It is astringent, anti-free radical and anti-inflammatory. |
| Certified Organic Pogostemon Cablin (Patchouli) Essential Oil | The pure essential oil of Patchouli leaves is used to treat dry, mature or wrinkled skin, to rejuvenate, invigorate and restore. |
